International Academic Competitions is pleased to announce that its 2020 Seattle Regional Finals of the National History Bee will be held at Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale, WA on Saturday, March 14. Please note that this Regional Finals does NOT include the National Science Bee or the US Academic Bee. A schedule of the day’s events has been posted below.

Note: If you wish to compete at this tournament, you need to first have created an IAC Sponsor Account here, then register for the National History Bee and/or National Science Bee, and pass the Online Regional Qualifying Exam. Students who pass the Online Regional Qualifying Exam for the History Bee and who are assigned to this regional site must then register for it online in advance of this tournament.

This Regional Finals will coincide with the Washington State Championships of the National History Bee and Bowl. Those wishing to participate in the National History Bowl may register from the page just linked. Middle School and Elementary students may take part in the JV division of the History Bee at this event, but if they want to participate in the Middle School and Elementary History Bee they must have qualified through the ORQE as stated in the paragraph above.

Please note that these are separate registrations. Registering for the Washington State Championships History Bee will NOT mean that you are registered for the Seattle History Bee Regional Finals. Students can take the E Set National Qualifying Exam for the US Geography Championships and International Geography Bee during the lunch break.
