International Academic Competitions is pleased to announce that its 2020 Charlotte Regional Finals of the National History Bee and National Science Bee will be held at Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy in Mooresboro, NC on Saturday, February 22. This tournament will also feature the Charlotte Regional Academic Bee, which is only open to any student competing in the History Bee or Science Bee that day. A schedule of the day’s events has been posted below.
Note: If you wish to compete at this tournament, you need to first have created an IAC Sponsor Account here, then register for the National History Bee and/or National Science Bee, and pass the Online Regional Qualifying Exam. Students who pass the Online Regional Qualifying Exam for either the History Bee or Science Bee or both and who are assigned to this regional site must then register for it online in advance of this tournament.

Competing students play 3 of the 4 History Bee Preliminary Rounds; during their bye round they can take the E Set National Qualifying Exam for the US Geography Championships and International Geography Bee. Students competing in the Academic Bee and Science Bee can take the F Set USGC and IGB Qualifying Exam during Lunch. Students competing in the Science Bee (but not the Academic Bee or History Bee) can take the F Set Exam during the Academic Bee Finals.
